Denys Lasdun Mini Guide
The distinctive work of Denys Lasdun is the subject of our fourth Mini Guide. The book explores his work from the 1930s until his death in 2001, which grew in scale and prestige, as Lasdun became one of the most lauded architects of his era.
From early projects like 32 Newton Road, through his social housing work of the 1950s, the university schemes of the 1960s and to the illustrious Royal College of Physicians and the National Theatre commissions, the guide documents the changes in style and function of Lasdun’s work.
The guide brings together all of Lasdun’s surviving projects in London plus his university work from Cambridge and Norwich. It features colour photographs and histories of the buildings featured and discussion of Lasdun’s work from further afield.
The Denys Lasdun mini guide is 72 pages long with 40 colour images of his buildings, including detailed descriptions and histories. The guide is printed on Silk 150 gsm paper, with a 250 gsm matt laminated cover.
